How to avoid burnout in fitness and weight loss
Three points. First, stop treating fitness as all in or all out. An Ironman you have never trained for, or a diet that eliminates an entire macronutrient group, has failure built into the vehicle.
Second, build the routine around your life rather than the reverse. A man who wants a BMI of 25 for his family has different boundaries than a bodybuilder eating on a timer every two hours.
Third, separate problems from opportunities. Gut health and testosterone are opportunities. Being overweight is the problem, and men who have been on TRT for years while still 50 pounds overweight are the proof.
What You'll Learn
- A plan that lasted six months did not work
- Being overweight is the problem, TRT is an opportunity
- Eat at BMR while cutting, TDEE when maintaining
